Thornton Hall Farm Country Park provides a fun-filled and educational place to visit for all the family. Find out all about animals, farming and the countryside in an entertaining and informative way. The farm park also caters for school and group visits, birthday parties and has an excellent conference room. Access could not be easier as it is ideally situated just 5 minutes from both the A59 and A56.

They offer demonstrations including hands-on activities and guided tours of the farm on our purpose built All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) known as the "Wizzick Experience". Purpose built viewing galleries give you a bird’s eye view of the cattle and lambing sheep in the indoor sheds. Ride on tractors and a straw maze provide hours of entertainment for children of all ages. The outdoor paddocks are home to all manner of animals including rare breed cattle, sheep, llamas and horses.

Thornton Hall Farm Country Park is set in 260 acres of beautiful countryside on the borders of Yorkshire and Lancashire and has been farmed by the Dawson family for generations. Traditionally a Dairy and sheep farm, the family decided to diversify and now provides an educational venue for children to learn about our rural heritage.
