Dunbia (Sawley) was incorporated in 1983, its present location is on the A59 on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border between Clitheroe and Skipton.

During 1998 the company became part of Dunbia and began taking advantage of its geographical location in the heart of the major livestock producing pastures of the north west of England. The company established its Green Pastures Producers Club – A high quality farm assured partnership with local livestock producers.

Whilst primarily a beef abattoir and beef de-boning plant producing a range of Primal cuts they also have facilities to slaughter a high volume of lambs for sale as chilled carcasses. They distribute products throughout the United Kingdom combining their own transport fleet with those of a select number of reliable haulage contractors.
