This business was established in 2001 by Cheryl Hook who designed and made her own candles. These candles are unique in both look and smell using aromatic perfumes throughout the candle.

In order to capitalise on the Christmas market, Melt exhibited at several fairs, which allowed them to promote their products to the public and trade. This business has been very successful and the candles are now sold in many shops nationwide. The business has expanded at such a rate that larger premises, as well as additional staff were required in order to keep up with demand.
