The Hodder Valley Show prides itself on being a traditional agricultural and horticultural show and on being the perfect family day out, with something for everyone to enjoy. Every year the show is visited by upwards of 3000 people, experiencing a slice of rural life in an idyllic setting. In 2006 there were over 1450 exhibits to see , including: Farmers Market - come and buy your produce direct from the Farmers themselves. One of the best Heavy Horse Shows in the country, we are a member of the Heavy Horse Society and are proud to hold Silver Spoon and Rosette Classes. There were 200 sheep representing 9 breeds, including rare breeds and 90 cattle representing 7 breeds. There are always Flower, Vegetable and Handicraft classes, sheepdog trial, sheep shearing demonstrations. Vintage Tractors, Fell Races, for Seniors, Juniors, Ladies and Veterans and lots more. Car parking is free, with on-site toilet facilities. The Show Committee is already planning this years show and as details become available they will be posted on the website.
