Fold House Caravan Park, established in 1951, is a family business, which is currently run by Tracy Carter. Prior to the development of the caravan park, the land was used for farming by Tracey’s ancestors (Tracy is the fifth generation of his family to live at Fold House!).

The private caravan park has won a whole host of awards such as the David Bellamy Conservation Award, the Best Park in Lancashire Award, The Pilling Business Award and the Best Caravan Park Award.

Last year five acres of grazing land was set aside for a conservation and sculpture park. Two public footpaths cross over the area and another one joins up to the park. These footpaths will allow visitors to the area and locals to benefit from the conservation park and to watch as the sculptures build up.

Artists from local colleges and universities will be invited to display their work in the sculpture park in meaning the work will be viewed by a larger audience than normal.

You can visit Fold House Caravan’s website at: www.foldhouse.co.uk or call on 01253 790267
