For 6 years Jean Fowler has been hand crafting livestock sculptures based on winning animals at the best agricultural shows. The sculpting and painting of these models began as a hobby but with the huge success, mainly within the farming community, Jean has decided to expand her business.

Currently Jean’s sculptures are only sold in Lancashire, Cumbria and the northern counties. Jean attends shows throughout these northern counties and offers farmers the opportunity to purchase bespoke models of their winning animals. Soon she will be attending shows nationwide and offering her unique service to farmers all over the country.

Jean is a farmer’s wife and lives on the family farm in Scorton. With the ever present problems faced by farmers nowadays, Jean’s talent for producing these sculptures means that the family will not just have to rely on the income generated from the farming business. Instead, this diversification project offers a real alternative source of income for the family.
