Founded by Douglas Blair the nursery has been growing organic salad crops for over 30 years. The nursery is now run by Ruth Weston, Allan Hughes and Neville Dunn who continue to grow a wide range of organic salad crops.

The range includes plum tomatoes, salad tomatoes, vine tomatoes, red and green peppers as well as cucumbers. The produce is supplied to local independent retailers and supermarkets.

In keeping with their organic priciples a woodburning stove was recently installed to heat the greenhouses in an efficient and carbon neutral manner. Rainwater is also collected for irrigation, to help minimise the use of mains water.
