Set on the edge of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, Ann Forshaw's Alston Dairy is a long established Dairy Farm that have been rearing pure breed Friesian cows for over 40 years. Since the early 1980s, Ann and her family have been producing a wide range of yogurts that are now selling across the nation.

Ann started with just one gallon of yogurt in her kitchen after attending a one-day course at Hutton College, Preston. After that Ann Forshaw's Alston Dairy was born and has grown from strength to strength ever since. Ann has won the Championship Yogurt prize at Nantwich Show for 8 consecutive years and in 1999 they moved into their new purpose built dairy in Longridge, Preston.

Ann was born and bred in the area and together with members of her family, has developed a strong link with the local community, building her staff to a 20 strong team. For Ann, quality is of paramount importance and therefore all milk used in Alston Dairy's yogurts comes from their own home-reared Friesians in order to maintain their consistently high standards.

Ann Forshaw's Alston Dairy attains the EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Services) higher level accreditation.
